Tequila and lime

"One of the best things ever happened to me,

I had to ink the very next moment and so did I!"

There I stood dressed in pink for the first sight,

The sight of him and he appeared so bright.

The clear glowing skin with traces of his stubble

Breathtaking smile, sharp nose, his eyes twinkled.

      There he stood like a stud amongst the crowd,

      He was handsome with his attitude so loud.

      I blushed at the start but held my guard all the time,

      Yet we gelled so well in no time like tequila and lime.

I felt like a princess cause he was a gentleman.

With him I longed to pause the time, oh damn!

Every moment spent just carved deep in my mind-

I could only see him and to everything else I turned blind

      I went crazy, gazing into his eyes

      "You're beautiful", he whispered and broke the Ice!

      We held hands and walked in the golden gleam,

      It all shattered in seconds, 'It was just a dream'.

Game of Life

"I was depressed... Life seemed pathetic and it could not get any better!"

Believe in yourself, till the stars you will go,

Until you do not attempt, you'll never know.

Troubles sized in mountains and sorrows piled in heaps,

Never give up anyway cause only a loser weeps.

      What others think of you is none of your business,

      Hovering about needless issues, life becomes a mess!

      Be yourself, try your best, mark these words in mind -

      If so you'll never feel betrayed and you'll never have to wind!

Life seems full of potholes, stay alert and awake

How you take it all, is about how you're going to make it.

Make life worth living, it's all about how you do so -

That you wouldn't end up cribbing or start to feel low.

      Life is a simple game, played by everybody on earth,

      The only game that is played since the time of birth,

      Live every moment of life, like it is the last,

      Think everyday's a party and just have a blast!
